I live in Australia, and I’ve recently returned from a trip to Brisbane and Melbourne. I’ve written a haiku based on the impressions of a beautiful afternoon on July 4 when it rained in Brisbane. The photograph was taken from the front steps of the Queensland Art Gallery.
High-rises so bland
Become beautiful when seen
Through the mist and rain.
